Daniel Tase Hayden What if Joy Division and Black Celebration-era Depeche Mode had a very politically minded baby that really hated the Conservative Right? You'll get an EP of awesome and awesomely-needed political anthems that are sorely missing in electro-rock today. Favorite track: A Revolution Not Worth Having.

1565 Days 03:24
There's silence from the throne Forever writ in stone And left to mark the dead Mass murdered through neglect And the Angel buries another one A host of bodies at the FDA ACT UP against hate that remains And the lesson is never learned Kings praised and victims spurned And the Angel buries another one The king is dead, long live the king
2.
Mother, can you hear your children? They're crying out, for so long All hope is gone Father, can you heal your family? You've tried so hard to control Everything they know It was always going to be this way Another sign for a better day The lives you take be heaven-sent When you take mine, I'll be your end Preacher, can you hear your pulpit? They're walking out, they lost the faith When god left this place Children, do you know your purpose? Your rage divine, your perfect hate All blessed in pain
3.
Darling, do you know the steps? Tell me, did your forebears teach you? You can take what's yours You can take it, if you choose to We could own this night Own the streets, and own this city We can dance with fire Those who won't deserve our pity It's not worth it, no, without dancing "Moral Majority" They're half right, but not for long You know you got the moves Tell them that you won't be moving on

about

In honor of Pride Month and anyone marching to make it known that Black Lives Matter, any proceeds (after whatever BandCamp takes) for the remainder of June will be donated to an LGBT organization serving people of color (still waiting for permission before naming them, but if I don't hear back by the end of the month, I'll donate it all the same).
